40th Reunion Party on August 23rd 2008
If you weren’t at the unofficial 40th Reunion Party on August 23rd 2008, at Galway Lake, you missed a great time, and you were missed. I must report that everyone who came looked “simply marvelous”!

The party was planned in three weeks, starting with an e-mail list of 4 people. John Magish gave me a few mail addresses and we advertised in the Glenville Weekly. From that seed, the viral marketing spread out and we had about 25 in attendance. Everyone agreed that we should get together more often and continue to build our database of names and contact information.
The potluck format made the party easy to do, as the food expanded with the people (and the people expanded with the great food). I would suggest that an annual or bi-annual picnic would be easy, fun and enable people to get back in touch. Many commented that they liked the casual atmosphere better than a formal dinner. Bill Hughes offered to host a cruise, I think. I also think that Gordie Hobday said we could crash the class of ’69 reunion next year – (right??)
Remember to subscribe to this BLOG, so you will be notified of changes and additions.
We are maintaining a list of names and email addresses in an Excel sheet that I will share with any class member who emails me. I am also maintaining a separate, non-published list of full contact information. (We want to be very careful about protecting personal information, so be sure to tell me if you don’t want your information given to other classmates.) Please send the information you can share about yourself and class friends you know. We want to have more people at the next party.
